Meadows stash slash

I found this photo of me after riding at Meadows on Thursday, they opened up Cascade after 15 inches and I got to surf the earth.

East Coastin' continued...

Well, We've been slackin' on the blogging. Too much fun I guess.

Ted's been blogging, but slow on the posts. Quality, over quantity that's what we're all about.

Here's one of the best sandwiches ever built, by yours truly.

Accidents happen, and I got myself caught in one. Surgery Tuesday and i'll be in the healing lane, also known as the fast lane.

Out Blogging Bundy

Ted's been snapping away pics with his elph for the bundyvision blog but he might not have posted them yet since he got posted in his own way...

- "It broke the skin"

Mandatory Dunkin Everyday

We're here in New York. Not only are we calling for mandatory dunkin donuts stops every morning but Ben has started using a little DD coffee for some course maintenance.

East Coastin'

Mark Dangler, Ben Littler, Matty Mo, Ted Borland, and I virtually watched the wonders of mother nature slam into the mid atlantic and east coast region the past two weeks. We wanted to watch first hand, so we got in my car and headed east.

We have made it. It took 28 hours give or take to reach our first stop lasting longer than 10 minutes, but we persevered.

5 guys in one Jetta station wagon, for 1,850 miles is what some may call uncomfortable. Well, I'm not saying it wasn't but we did it. New York state welcomed us with open arms. Shannon, a friend of Marks put us up. It wasn't just floor space, there were extra couches and mattresses available! Breakfast the next morning and we were off to do what we came this far to do, BOARD!

Well, this is were the story pauses for now. Here are some photos from the drive.

Thank you so very much Shannon for your hospitality, and graciousness!

Beginning.
Route 80, Utah. 1,800 miles to go.
Yup. 1 driver, 1 navigator, 3 passengers in the back. Not scared.
Must still be the beginning, still excited to be in the car with 5 guys.
Matty makes those wind mills look good!
Setting sun, end of a day, beginning of a long night.
We got hooked up with some serious Honest Tea and Honest Ade. Thanks a whole heap Corbett!
Ben loves our beautiful country, especially sitting along side two other gentlemen.

We had a good day.

Bens Day Out. from Ben Farrell on Vimeo.

Tuesday was a great day! It was warm and sunny and Denny's was serving free grand slams. Two pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two terribly disgusting pieces of sausage. Ben doesn't eat meat so I scored four bacon strips. Whatup! After breakfast we made our way down to 9th and 9th for a little push scootin action. Empty park and no snow, I like it when it's warm in the city. Anyways it was the first day back skating so we were a little rusty but we prevailed and dropped hammers. The battery died so we weren't able to document the rest of the day but I'll inform you so you can feel as though you were there. Skating tired our little hearts and legs out so we napped. I woke up just in time for sunset so that was a nice little surprise. Ben worked because you know, we all gotta eat but when he got home eat we did. Free horchata on Tuesdays at Albertos plus the most bangin' burritos in the city. Yeah I said it, better than Molca. We devoured our food and got ourselves over to Sean, Josh and Rich's humble abode to drink whiskey with our friends. As if the day couldn't get any better, VFW serves 75 cent drafts every Tuesday so you know we made our way over there to indulge. Dancing and drinking ensued and fun was had all around. With good friends and beautiful days life could not possibly be happier!
