Mancouver edit

I spent two weeks up in Vancouver with some pals during the Olympics. I made an edit of random shots, (many featuring Chris Mulcahy) around the city and at Grouse Mountain. Enjoy

Bristol Mountain

Well, I recently went on a short trip back east. Among the various friends and family I wanted to see, I also wanted to ride Bristol. Bristol is where it all started for a few of us. It is almost a home away from home. After arriving in Rochester, my friend Matt picked me up from the airport. Due, to the dooming weather report in the days to follow, we went straight to the mountain, to soak up some rays, check out the terrain, and push around some thick slush.

Overall, I give Bristol a progressive thumb up. The park features a mix of jumps, rails, boxes, and an interesting assortment of creativity. Good job grooming side jump trannys and setting up unique features. They even had a mini pipe in the mini park. Nice.

Here is a recent Bristol edit, from our friend John Blume:

The showemus accroski leak

So we've been working pretty hard on the animal farm video lately. Lucey's already finished a section we filmed up on some mellow groomers in PC. Josh and I put together some pretty next level butter tricks that just had to be documented. We're not about to leak the entire video in march like our friends at Variety Pack, but we'll give you a sweet little taste of our unique style.

Get Buck!

Still Stackin

The Leak!

Check out the teaser for The Leak, Eddies new video dropping soon, son. Lots of Animal Farmers in there!

Happy Birthday Josh

It's Josh's birthday, I know he hates them so I'll keep it short. Josh is one of the main reasons Animal Farm exists. He is a founder of the farm and a huge creative influence. So thank him next time you see him out for all the joy Animal Farm brings to your life.
I met Josh two years ago directly out of the car from my drive across the country. We rode rail gardens on a pow day (the canyon was closed, don't hate) but the next day Josh showed me how goddamn fun riding in Utah is. Very first day riding was bluebird and waist deep. First run ever at Brighton I followed Josh across the traverse on Milly then into Mary's. I had never ridden anything like that in my life but Josh was confident so I stuck by him. Needless to say this was a real good start to our friendship. Now over two years later I have experienced a lot with Josh and feel very lucky to call him my friend. Here are some high lights. I've ridden Milly on the deepest day of the year drunk, gone to many a hot springs, seen him steal a cat statue from a party, almost got killed on my bike, seen a wolf spider climb his leg, watched his progression in skating and lived homeless with him this fall.
I love riding with Josh because he has a great eye for lines or tranny finders or any other kind of weird feature to have fun on. He's a real good guy and a real good friend so if you see him today wish him a happy birthday, hopefully he'll smile. From everyone at The Farm we love you Josh.

Brighton Peeps.

From the Brighon Terrain Parks Blog:

"Good news.. We just got the approval to build the jumps in MY-O-MY. We are planning to start on them on Sunday the 7th. There is a catch! You must have a PEEP’S PARK PERMIT."

I just took the quiz and got my voucher.

At first, the whole thing seems incredibly lame, especially since the voice on the quiz is a pretty bad impression of Mr. Mackey from South Park, mm'kay. Then I realized that this is a good thing. It means there will be jumps for spring riding, and it also means that a large chunk of randoms, gapers, joeys, and goombas will be gone from the My-O-My park.

So get your thinking caps on, strap on your gnarly boots, and take the quiz.

New York Trip: Holiday Valley

Holiday's park is on point this year! We headed down for a little bit of night riding thanks to Pat Morgan for hookin' it up. Lots of fun features and tranny finders at Holiday...why's their park so good this year? Maybe it's because they have Denny working park crew now?

New York Trip: Kissing Bridge Day

The first time I ever went to Kissing Bridge it was a sunny sunday afternoon. I remember pulling into the parking lot and thinking, "well this is gonna suck" as I looked across the crowded rows of cars. However when I got my board out of the car and walked up to the lift I noticed that there was nobody on the hill. Everyone was at the bar or drinking on the outdoor bbq patio, watching the Buffalo Bills game...and this my friends is why Kissing Bridge will always hold a special place in my heart.
